1. Introduction
Welcome to HELMIFY. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the purchase of personalized helmets from HELMIFY (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order through our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Definitions
- “Customer” or “you” refers to the individual or business entity placing an order
- “Product” refers to personalized helmets manufactured by HELMIFY
- “Order” refers to your request to purchase one or more Products
- “Business Customer” refers to companies, organizations, teams, clubs, or other entities purchasing for commercial or organizational purposes
3. Product Information
3.1 Helmet Models and Specifications
HELMIFY offers 6 base helmet models designed for cycling, skiing, skating, and rollerblading: – RIDE: Skate/skateboard/scooter, urban mobility – CITY: Road/mountain bike, in-mold, LED/visor option, urban cyclists – EXPLORER: Road/mountain bike, out-mold, visor, no LED, adventure/tourism – BEAM: Kids XS/S, in-mold, LED option – SPARK: Bigger kids, out-mold, no LED (available in one universal size only) – AVALON: Ski helmet, premium/luxury, alpine tourism
Most models are available in 2-3 sizes. The SPARK model is available in one universal size only.
3.2 Safety Certifications
All HELMIFY helmets are certified to European safety standards: – EN1078:2012+A1:2012 (cycling, skating, rollerblading) – EN1077:2007 (skiing)
3.3 Customization Options
Each helmet can be personalized with: – Shell graphics style – Shell colors (2-4 colors depending on style) – Finish (glossy or matte) – Text and images in up to 6 different areas – Webbing/strap style and color – Padding color – Divider style – Buckle style – LED lights (City and Beam models only) – Visor (Ride and Explorer models only) – Rivet color (Ride and Avalon models only)
3.4 Design Restrictions
Custom designs must: – Be technically feasible to produce on helmet surfaces – Comply with safety standards (no designs that interfere with safety features) – Not violate intellectual property rights (you must own or have permission to use all designs) – Not contain offensive, defamatory, or illegal content
We reserve the right to reject designs that do not meet these criteria.
4. Ordering Process
4.1 Online Configurator
Orders are placed through our online configurator powered by ZAKEKE technology. The configurator provides a real-time 3D preview of your design.
4.2 Design Files
Accepted file formats: PNG, JPG, SVG, AI (Adobe Illustrator)
For optimal print quality, we recommend vector formats (SVG or AI) for logos and graphics.
4.3 Order Confirmation
Once you complete your order and payment is processed, you will receive an order confirmation via email containing your design specifications and order details.
4.4 Design Changes
Design changes can only be made within 24 hours of order placement and only if production has not yet started. Once production begins, no changes can be made due to the custom nature of each helmet.
4.5 Minimum Order Quantity
- Individual customers: 1 helmet (no minimum)
- Business customers: 1 helmet (no minimum)
- Volume discounts available for orders of 10, 20, 40+ helmets
- Personalized offers for orders of 100+ helmets
4.6 Bulk Order Customization
For bulk orders, all helmets maintain the same base design (model, shell graphics style, colors, finish, webbing, padding, divider, buckle, and optional features). However, text and images (Step 3 of the configurator) can be personalized for each individual helmet.
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 Currency
All prices are displayed in EUR (Euros).
5.2 Taxes
Prices displayed on our website do not include VAT. Applicable taxes will be calculated and added at checkout based on your delivery location.
5.3 Payment Methods
We process all payments securely through Stripe and offer the following payment options:
Orders up to €500: – Full payment (100%) required at checkout – Accepted methods: Credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, or bank transfer
Orders over €500: – Option 1: Full payment (100%) at checkout via card, Apple/Google Pay, or bank transfer – Option 2: Split payment: – 50% advance payment when order is submitted (30% during pre-season campaigns) – Remaining balance before delivery – Available via bank transfer or card payment
5.4 Business Customer Payment Terms
Business customers may arrange invoice payment with terms of 60 days from delivery date. Contact our team to set up business payment terms.
5.5 Volume Discounts
Special pricing and conditions are available for orders of 10, 20, 40+ helmets, with personalized offers for orders of 100+ helmets. Contact our team for a custom quote.
5.6 Payment Processing
Payment must be received before production begins. For split payment arrangements, the advance payment must be received before production starts, and the final balance must be paid before shipment.
6. Production and Delivery
6.1 Production Timeline
- Single helmet: 5 days production time
- Bulk orders (10+ helmets): 10 days production time
6.2 Delivery Timeline
- Single helmet orders: 2 weeks total from order confirmation to delivery
- Bulk orders (10+ helmets): 3 weeks total from order confirmation to delivery
6.3 Sample Approval for Business Orders
For large business orders, physical samples may be sent for approval before full production begins. This may extend the total delivery timeline.
6.4 Shipping
We ship to all European countries. Shipping costs vary depending on location and order size and will be calculated at checkout.
Free shipping is included for orders of 40 pieces or more.
6.5 Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email to monitor your delivery in real-time.
6.6 Delivery Issues
If your order does not arrive within the expected timeframe, please contact us immediately. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or force majeure events.
7. Quality Control
Every helmet undergoes rigorous quality control including: – Raw material inspection upon arrival – Final line control before customization – End-of-line product quality control – Printing durability tests (cross-cutting and solvent tests)
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Customer-Provided Designs
You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to use any designs, logos, images, or text you upload for customization. You agree to indemnify HELMIFY against any claims arising from intellectual property infringement related to your designs.
8.2 HELMIFY Property
All product designs, website content, configurator technology, and HELMIFY branding are the intellectual property of HELMIFY and may not be reproduced without written permission.
9. Returns and Refunds
Due to the personalized nature of our products, returns are subject to specific conditions. Please refer to our Return Policy for complete details.
In summary: – Personalized helmets cannot be returned except in cases of manufacturing defects, shipping damage, or errors by HELMIFY – Returns are not accepted for change of mind, incorrect size ordered by customer, or dissatisfaction with customer-approved design – Issues must be reported within 7 days of receipt – Manufacturing defects will be replaced free of charge
10. Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our helmets. Any manufacturing defects will be addressed with a free replacement. The warranty covers: – Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship – Printing defects or premature fading under normal use
The warranty does not cover: – Normal wear and tear – Damage from accidents, misuse, or improper care – Damage from modifications made by the customer – Helmets that have been involved in an impact (helmets should be replaced after any significant impact)
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 Product Use
Helmets must be used in accordance with their intended purpose and safety guidelines. HELMIFY is not liable for injuries resulting from: – Improper use of the helmet – Failure to follow safety instructions – Use of a helmet after it has sustained an impact – Modifications made to the helmet
11.2 Maximum Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HELMIFY’s total liability for any claim arising from your order shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Product.
11.3 Exclusions
HELMIFY is not liable for: – Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages – Loss of profits or business opportunities – Delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control
12. Privacy and Data Protection
We collect and process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.

14. Dispute Resolution
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
14.2 Dispute Resolution Process
In the event of any dispute, we encourage you to contact us first to seek an amicable resolution. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be resolved through the courts of Romania.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Return Policy and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and HELMIFY regarding your purchase of Products.
